Yesterday I presented a lunch-n-learn for one of my corporate clients. The class they requested was, “Lifestyle Tips For Cancer Prevention.” This class isn’t typically on my course menu, but I customize classes to group needs and interests whenever possible.
It went really well. Approximately twenty people were in the conference room in Denver and a handful of others joined in on the video conference call.
I spent half the class talking about functional nutrition and the other half of the class discussing environmental toxins and practical self-care and prevention tips to add into your daily routines.
A question that came up during the class and after the class from people who stayed behind to ask individual questions and then again this morning in a follow-up email was “what are my recommendations for high quality, pharmaceutical grade nutritional supplements?”
- In general, I think health food stores like Whole Foods, Sprouts, Natural Grocers, Earth Fare etc. carry good quality, trustworthy brands and I often purchase supplements for myself and my family at these retailers.
- The creme-de-la-creme nutraceutical grade supplement brands I recommend and also use are:
My personal favorite brands:
–Designs For Health
Other great brands that I highly recommend:
Places to find these brands:
1. Most functional medical doctors, osteopaths, naturopaths, nutritionists, chiropractors, acupuncturists.
2. Pharmaca Integrative/Compounding Pharmacy -sells the brands I listed above and many other high-quality nutraceutical brands are in their retail stores and online as well. They have locations in Colorado, California, New Mexico, Oregan, and Washington.
